I’m heartbroken to have to do this and to even confirm that it’s true, but on May 4, 2020, my firstborn and my only son Devon Johnson-Bey passed away unexpectedly.

Devon’s reach and his impact on others was and is endless. There are so many people all over this country but especially in Baltimore, MD who knew and loved him, so I know I am not alone in my grief. My son deserved so much better and so much more. But now it’s time for me to lay him to rest and I’m asking for help in doing so.

Because of the pandemic, we are not currently able to give Devon the Homegoing service he deserves, but he still deserves. So I’m asking for any help at all to assist me and my family with the costs of memorializing my son.
