Six months after my dad’s passing my mother was diagnosed with Leukemia. As you can imagine receiving those news broke us (my mother, my sister and I) after just losing my father six months prior. Although we were in shock and disbelief of her diagnosis we still had hope she would fight this horrible disease and get better.
My mother fought like hell. She shortly began chemotherapy after her diagnosis. My mother went through three cycles of chemotherapy - each cycle consists of up to 28 days of taking combination chemotherapy drugs. Anyone that’s ever dealt with cancer or had a loved one that went through cancer treatment can tell you how difficult the disease itself is - but the treatment and it’s side effects are INHUMANE! My mother went through so much fighting cancer! She didn’t deserve to go through so much pain! Although it angers me and I have so many questions as to why this is happening ~ I am at peace knowing my mother is with my father ♥︎ they were soul mates I truly believe that - their love was so strong that not even death can keep them apart.
