Updated Goal: $1,500 — Just to Bring Him Home
Hi everyone, first off, I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart. The support, love, and generosity I’ve received over the past week have meant the world to me. I wasn’t expecting this much help from the community—especially during one of the hardest times of my life—and I’m so deeply grateful.
After looking at all my options and facing financial reality, I’ve made the difficult decision not to move forward with a full funeral service for my dad. I’ve decided to go with a simple cremation through First Wisconsin Cremation Services. This is my last resort, but it’s the most realistic path forward.
Even though my dad and I went through a lot, I just want to do this one last thing for him: bring him home with me. That’s all I ask for.
Because of this change, I’ve lowered the fundraiser goal to $1,500—just enough to cover the cost of cremation and getting him back to us. I’ve also learned that I’m no longer eligible for WFCAP (Wisconsin Funeral and Cemetery Aids Program) due to having this fundraiser. So, every dollar truly helps. Thank you again for everything. Whether you donated, shared, or sent a kind message—it’s all helped more than you know.
