David Alvarado Funeral and Medical Fund

      We are deeply saddened and devastated on the news we were given yesterday afternoon that Covid-19 had taken our loving father. In the midst of grieving , we are in need of support to cover the funeral and medical costs that we are left with. As a family we are now asking our broader community and even people who did not know us to help carry the weight of this and to please support my family. 

     We lost our strong, dependable, resilient, funny, courageous father, David Alvarado far too soon. He was the backbone of our family and he means so much to so many. His strength was undeniable and brought light even though he was holding the world on his shoulders.  He is loved and will dearly missed by many.. 

     On Thanksgiving my father came in contact with Covid-19, on the 3rd of December my father was emitted to the ICU at Kansas City Medical Research Center. For 13 long days my father fought Covid-19 and was trying his hardest to overcome the battle but sadly on December 15th my father's body couldn't fight any longer. He passed with his loving wife holding his hand in his final moments. He will be missed by many family members and friends.
