On October 25th, 2025, my father, Björn Andresen, passed away.

For many, he was known through his work as an actor and musician but to me, he was simply my dad: a gentle and creative soul who enriched my life with humor, music and never ending conversations.

In March 2021 he got his cancer diagnosis and the oncologist told us that he'd have approximately one more year to live and, if given a miracle, five more years.

His strength and determination kept him going and even if he didn't quite make it til the five year miracle mark I'd like to think it was just that - a miracle.

Now I'm aiming to create another one but I can't do so without the help of others ❤️

My fathers home is a time capsule.

Everything from the bigger furniture to the littlest item is the same as when I was a child, every piece holding its own memory and sentimental value, and this is why I started this fundraiser.

I want to save his home and belongings!

I want to be transparent!

My fathers debts are greater than his assets making his estate insolvent.

This will lead to enforcement measures and the risk of losing everything that was once his.

I have spoken with a legal advisor and learned that, in such a process, I may be given priority to purchase certain items I wish to keep.

While this makes sense legally, the thought of having to buy back pieces of my own father’s life, items that hold great personal value to me, is difficult to comprehend.

Therefore, with the help of others, I wish to be able to cover what needs to be paid, and through that avoid my father’s home becoming an insolvent estate.

Any financial support will help me protect and handle his home and belongings with love, care, and respect.

I am my father’s only living child, and the responsibility for everything that followed his passing rests on me, and thou I'm grateful to have supportive friends around me, in the end, the practical and financial weight is mine to carry.

Starting this fundraiser has not been an easy decision but the reality is that I am in need.

The funds will go toward:

• Avoid enforcement measurements and cover practical expenses related to his home (clearing, organizing, storing or preserving important items)

• Administrative and legal fees connected to his passing

• Funeral costs (ceremony, transport, and burial)

• Keeping my promise to get his piano tuned
