Hello family and friends,

With a heavy heart, I share that my father, Preston McKinnon, passed away on Saturday, November 8th in Fayetteville, North Carolina. After an extended journey with Alzheimer’s and a brief battle with Sepsis, he is finally at peace.

As I prepare to travel across the country with my children to lay him to rest, I find myself in a vulnerable position. Due to my job loss this summer and personal ongoing health challenges that require specialist care, at this time, I don’t have the means to cover the cost of travel expenses and contribute to funeral expenses on my own.

Asking for help is never easy — it comes with a mix of humility, stress, and deep gratitude. If you’re able to give, even a small amount, it would mean a great deal to me and my family. Every donation brings us closer to honoring my dad’s memory with love and presence.
