This week, I lost my best friend — Jorge L. Cataño — and I’m still trying to find the words. On Tuesday, we received the heartbreaking news of his passing, and it’s hard to imagine life without him.

Jorge wasn’t just a friend — he was family. He had a heart bigger than most, a smile that could light up any room, and a way of making everyone around him laugh uncontrollably. He was the kind of person who showed up for people — always.

I’ve started this GoFundMe to help his family cover funeral arrangements and other expenses during this incredibly difficult time. The sudden loss has left them heartbroken and facing unexpected costs, and I want to do everything I can to help ease that burden.
