In Loving Memory of My Aunt Kayci Green– Supporting Her Husband in the Aftermath of Loss
Hi, my name is Katie, and I’m fundraising on behalf of my uncle Alan Green, who recently lost the love of his life, my beautiful aunt, Kayci Green, to an aggressive, fast-moving battle with breast cancer.
She passed away on July 14, and our hearts are shattered.
My aunt was truly one of a kind! Beautiful inside and out. She had the most incredible sense of humor, an unstoppable work ethic, and a heart that constantly poured out love to others. She was a devoted wife, a fiercely loyal friend, and the kind of person who would show up for anyone in need, no questions asked.
Even as cancer spread through her body, she kept working full-time and caring for everyone around her. She fought so hard, right up until the very end. She was, and will always be a warrior.
Now, her husband, my uncle, is left to navigate life without her. On top of the devastating emotional loss, he is facing significant financial strain. The medical bills from her treatment are overwhelming, and he is also battling a serious autoimmune disease that prevents him from working. The combination of grief, illness, and financial pressure has left him in a heartbreaking place.
I’m asking for your help to ease his burden.
Your donation will go directly toward:
- Covering medical bills from my aunt’s care
- Supporting my uncle’s living expenses as he continues to manage his own health
- Helping with any unexpected costs that may arise during this difficult time
He would never ask for help himself, but right now, he needs us.
If you’re able to give, even a small amount, it would mean the world to him — and to all of us who loved her. And if you can’t give, please consider sharing this campaign so we can reach others who might be able to help.
Thank you for taking the time to read our story, and for holding our family in your heart.
With deepest gratitude,
Katie
