It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our father Mondolkiri Nal. He passed away on May 18th from complications related to COVID-19.
He is survived by his siblings, four kids and three grandkids. Our father was loved and cherished by an endless amount of friends. His devotion to his community and helping others before himself was the kind of person he was. A survivor of the Khmer Rouge genocide, he came to America and made the best of his opportunities.
Within the last several years, he has fought thru diabetes, multiple surgeries and beating colon cancer. Our dad was a fighter. But little did we know that this would be his last fight after contracting coronavirus. He can rest peacefully now and no longer has to suffer.
We are overwhelmed with sadness and would like to say thank you to everyone for all your love and support. It really means a lot to us.
During this difficult time, we ask that any donations will help cover the cost for funeral services and a memorial back in his homeland of Cambodia.
