It is with deepest sorrow that we share the news of my mom’s passing on February 15, 2025. Known to many as Mei-Ling and most affectionately known as "Mei-Lan's mommy" and "Candy Lady", she was a beloved mother, and friend, known for her caring nature, generous spirit, and unending kindness.

Her love for her family and her community was boundless. A constant at events: soccer, basketball, softball games, musical theater, choir, and marching band performances, mom could always be heard cheering, giving her support to all the players and performers, sharing jokes, and bringing laughter and smiles on the sidelines.

Whether it was providing a comforting word, a hug, a helping hand, or just making sure no one was ever left without,

(We all know no one ever went hungry when my mom was nearby—whether it was with candy, chicken on a stick, or a tasty meal).

Her nurturing heart knew no limits, and her passion for taking care of and being kind to others was at the core of everything she did.

A true warrior in every sense of the word, mom fought for what she believed in and never gave up on anything or anyone, even when she herself faced painful health and medical challenges. She was and continues to be a shining example of kindness, love, and generosity.

As our family is grieving and we are navigating the logistics of arranging a proper farewell and honoring the wishes to bring my mother home to New Jersey and the community she loved.

We are facing unexpected and overwhelming expenses related to her funeral and medical costs, and we are reaching out for support during this difficult time.
