In loving memory of Mike Svendson

In the early hours of December 16th, the Svendsons family suffered a tragic loss with Mikes passing at the young age of 43.
Mike was a loving husband, father, son, uncle and friend to many of us and leaves behind his loving wife Mai, their beautiful children Peyton and Wesley as well as his mom Ann, father Ken and sister Amanda.
For those of you who knew Mike, he was not shy of striking up a conversation with a complete stanger and sharing many of his profound life stories.
Shortly after Mike and Mai became pregnant with their first child Peyton, Mike was diagnosed with a severe heart condition that required him to undergo open heart surgery. Mike was given a new lease on life with an artificial heart valve and a pace maker. After this time Mai got pregnant with their second child and Wesley was born.
He felt at peace being in the wilderness. He loved hunting with his family and friends while being able to provide for them. He enjoyed being able to take Peyton with him on these adventure awhile teaching her his love for the sport.
Mike has always been there for his friends and family in such a selfless way. Now with Mikes passing his family needs our help. Due to Mikes heart condition he was not eligible to receive life insurance. This leaves Mai with a huge financial burden and is left to carry the financial needs of the family on her own. To honor Mikes memory we know he would appreciate it very much if we were able to contribute and support his family in a time of need, when no is no longer able to.
Any amount you can donate to help this amazing family in need, especially this time of year would be greatly appreciated.
The friends and family of Mike & Mai appreciate your donations. Thank you.
