In loving memory of Mike Haines - Supporting his family
Donation protected
My name is Laura Finch, the sister-in-law of Mike Haines. It is with great sadness that I ask for your support, as on 14th March 2025, Mike died very unexpectedly. His passing has left an irreplaceable void in the lives of everyone who knew and loved him — but particularly his wife, Sophie, and their beautiful daughters - Jazz and Talia.
Mike brought warmth, humour, and strength of character wherever he went, and his love for his family was unwavering. He was someone we all relied on more than we realised, and someone you guarantee would bring great insight into any conversation. We will miss him enormously.
Along with all the great memories, Mike also leaves an especially beautiful legacy in his daughters, Jazz and Talia. Both are fantastic, kind-hearted girls - and fast becoming inspiring individuals in their own right.
Equal credit must go to Mum Sophie, who is one of the nicest people you would ever have the pleasure to meet. She has been an unwavering personality despite suffering with cancer over the past two years; a serious condition that is still ongoing. Few of us would have dealt with her situation so bravely and selflessly.
We’re reaching out to you — friends, family, and colleagues — to ask for your support in what is an extremely difficult and uncertain time for his immediate family. We would like to raise a sum of money, specifically for Mike and Sophie's two girls, and we are asking you to donate whatever amount you choose to help them achieve their goals as adults.
Anything you can give — whether it's a little or a lot — will make a difference. No amount of money will take away their grief, but your kindness will help as they now begin to navigate life without their father.
Please share this page, keep Mike’s memory alive in your thoughts, and know that your support means everything to us.
Thank you.
