In Loving Memory of Michael Wentz
It is with broken hearts that we share the passing of our beloved father, Michael Wentz. There are no words big enough to capture who he truly was. Michael was the center of our family, our protector, our support, and the person we could always count on no matter what. To us, he was not just a father — he was our constant source of strength, love, and guidance.
Michael was known far beyond our home. If you lived in our community, you likely knew him, and if you knew him, you knew his kindness. He was one of the most giving souls you could ever meet — the kind of man who would offer help before you asked, who would give you his last dollar, who would stay late, show up early, and put himself second every single time. His generosity wasn’t a gesture — it was who he was at his core.
Losing him has left a void in our hearts that we will carry forever. As we try to process this grief, we are also facing the reality of unexpected funeral expenses. We want to honor Michael in a way that reflects his love and his legacy — something meaningful, beautiful, and filled with the same compassion he showed the world.
We are humbly asking for financial support to help cover the cost of funeral services, burial, and the arrangements needed to lay him to rest. Any contribution, big or small, will ease the burden on our family during this unimaginable time and allow us to focus on remembering and celebrating the man who gave us everything.
For anyone who would like to attend and pay their respects, Michael’s funeral will be held on December 12th at 1:00 p.m at Piney Grove East Missionary Baptist Church. We would be honored to have anyone whose life he touched join us in saying our final goodbyes.
