On February 14, 2022, we lost our youngest cousin in a tragic motor vehicle accident. Michael Reed leaves behind his mother, his father, and his three older sisters—all of whom are beyond devastated by this unexpected loss. Michael was just 24 years old.

 

Although Michael’s life was cut short, his memory will live on forever. Michael was the sweetest, most kind-hearted, and loyal young man. He was the savior of many a stray animal and the strong protector of his older sisters. He was an athlete—the high point leader on the swim team and the high-level umpire from the baseball team. Michael had just begun to channel his passion for sports into a career as a sports camera operator before the accident. His future was bright.

 

As if unexpectedly losing a loved one were not difficult enough, our family must now organize and fund a ceremony bidding farewell to someone whom we were not yet ready to let go.
