In loving memory of Michael Lopez (CHINO)
Donation protected
Michael “Chino” Lopez, age 68, of Kamiah, ID, passed away in the early hours of 11 Oct 2020, after a recent hospitalization. He was born 05 March 1952 to parents Eulalio and Minerva Lopez in New York City. Mike is survived by his children, Valentina and Carter, grandchildren Angelica, Lorena, Mario, Mytaya, and Creed, and his brother George, and their respective families. He was predeceased by his parents, Eulalio and Minerva, and brother, Ivan. The family feels deep anguish and mourn his passing especially during these most difficult times. Final arrangements are still being made, and will be shared as appropriate in the coming days.
If you knew Mike, it’d be hard to miss his charismatic free spirit and good nature. He was quick with a joke and loved any reason to gather with family and friends. He was a sweet and mischievous soul. In his younger years, Mike was a skilled athlete with many hobbies including martial arts, running, and dancing. Among the things we’ll miss most are his big laugh, naughty sense of humor, and full smile that made just about anyone feel immediately at ease.
As his children are in the midst of their grief and now left to make his final arrangements, let us help his children and family as they deal with the loss of Mike.
We are raising money to assist with funeral and memorial service costs, as well as transportation to get him from Idaho to Seattle to give him the proper burial for family and friends as the family deals with this loss. The family is grateful for the outpouring of sympathy and message of comfort that they have received so far.
If you'd like to contribute to Mike/Chino’s memorial arrangements, you may send them via Cash App to $chinasoul or via VenMo to @Valentina-Lopez-22. Memorial arrangements are still being made and will be shared as additional information becomes available.
