In Loving Memory of Michael Ferdinand

It is with heavy hearts that we grieve the devastating loss of Michael Ferdinand. Mike was working security at Pickering Casino on October 9, 2023 where he was involved in an altercation leading to his tragic passing. He was simply doing his job and was a victim of pointless gun violence. Mike will forever be remembered for his heroic actions as he saved numerous lives that night.

Mike was one of the most genuine and generous people you could ever meet. He was truly a selfless person, often putting the wellbeing of others ahead of his own. Mike always lived his life the way he wanted and overcame any obstacles that he faced along the way. He had a special way of touching so many people's lives instantly with his infectious laugh, bright smile and sense of humour.

Mike always showed up for his friends and family and now it is our turn to show up for him. We are asking for your support to help alleviate the financial burden that his wife, Mara, now faces.
