In Loving Memory of Michael Barrett

Donation protected

No Parent Should Have To Bury Their Child.

Ever.

I think that we can all agree on this.

Our purpose is that we protect them in life so that they out live us and we leave a legacy.

Michael Barrett is a legacy.

If you have ever had the pleasure to know Michael, you will forever know him in his death just as you did in his life because he left that residual positive impact on you. When you reference him in conversation down the road, it will no doubt be with the happy memories that will force you to smile through your tears because he just was THAT great of a human being.

Son of Major Tony Barrett, USMC (retired) and Marina (Campos) Barrett, brother to Tony Barrett IV.

His parents molded him into this incredibly driven, passionate, kind-hearted man.

From spending his free time making memories with his family, entertaining younger kids so they felt cool being around a "big kid", and his love for animals - there wasn't an evil cell in Michael's body.

Tony and Marina set the bar high for the rest of us parents on what an accomplished young adult should be for society and for himself.

It's now our opportunity to show respect not only for their hardworking and love as parents, but also our opportunity to help ease the financial strain on Michael's family as they prepare for services to honor his life this Tuesday August 10th.

On August 3rd, 2021, Michael was tragically and unexpectedly taken from his family.

To be specific: Michael was driving on the highway when a wrong-way driver collided with his vehicle.

Upon impact, Michael's vehicle was launched over a guardrail, traveled approximately 30ft down an embankment, hitting a tree and becoming engulfed in flames (according to state police).

This GoFundMe has been created to offer all donations directly to his family.

His father Tony Barrett will be the beneficiary and receive all donations.
