In Loving Memory of My Beautiful Daughter, Maycee Ellis
My heart is shattered as I write this. Our precious Maycee Ellis was taken from us far too soon. She was pure light and joy—always coming home with laughter spilling out and that radiant smile that could light up the darkest days. The other night, hearing everyone share stories about her reminded me again just how full of life and happiness she truly was. Maycee brought joy everywhere she went. She got that beautiful spirit from me, and I’m so proud of the light she carried in this world.
Right now I’m trying my best to stay strong for my other daughter, Makayla, but this pain is unimaginable. We are both hurting deeply and will need all the prayers, love, and support we can get as we walk through this heartbreaking time. Even though Maycee was only in our lives for a short while, her laughter and smile will live in my heart forever. I will cherish every single memory we made together. I know she would want us to keep going and to lean on the people who love us.
We are starting this GoFundMe to help with funeral expenses, memorial costs, and to support our family as we grieve and begin to heal.
