Grief over the loss of a family member is a difficult thing to deal with. We have all experienced it at some point in life, and it is always a very sobering experience. Our ESI family experienced this recently when we lost Maximo Guevara, one of our technicians. Maximo became a member of the “ESI family” in April 2019.
Though losing a family member is brutal and difficult, it is amazing to watch how family rallies together to embrace the sorrow and join hands to help lift the burdens of grief and sorrow. You suddenly realize you are not alone in all this! Someone else cares; someone else feels your pain and sorrow. Someone else has come along side of you, reached out and took hold of the burden of your loss and said…..”You are not alone, we will help you!” With them they bring strength when you are weak, joy in the midst of your pain, and a gentle and quiet touch of love, compassion and kindness that help soothe the pain and sorrow of your loss.
We all need one another to make it through life. None of us are so strong or “so together” that we do not need “one another!” It takes all of us doing our part to make the family complete and strong!
Together let’s reach out and touch Maximo’s family with our love, compassion, and kindness leaving an unforgettable handprint on their lives that whispers to their hearts…..”We Care! You are not alone! We are here to help you! We are family!”
