At the request of the family, we are reaching out to ask for donations to support Robert Swite and family as they navigate the loss of his beloved wife, Mavis.

Mavis was a cherished wife, mom, sister, aunty and grandma. She was very involved in our WFN community, and spent many years working with our children and families. Mavis helped raise and guide so many of our children, and we are forever grateful.

Her kindness and warmth extended far beyond just her family, as she always supported not just her own kids, Jayden and Robert Jr, but all of the kids in our community, making sure they valued culture, language, and the importance of looking out for one another. Mavis was a truly sweet and kind person, and it was clear to anyone who knew them that she and Robert had so much love for each other.

As the family navigates this loss, we want to come together as a community to ease the financial burden they are facing. Any contribution, no matter the amount, are greatly appreciated and will go directly toward funeral costs and helping the family honour Mavis' life and journey.
