Dear family and friends,

On the behalf of the Kreiss and Salinas family, it is with a heavy heart to announce the sudden passing of Matthew Corey Kreiss on January 14th 2024.

Matthew was born and raised in Richardson, Texas and where he grew up to become an amazing man. He was known by everybody to be a very strong, smart, kind, reliable, outdoorsy and outgoing person. Many of close home/college friends always knew they could count on Matthew for anything. He attended Richardson Highschool and attended Texas A&M University in College Station, TX. Matthew joined the Corps of Cadets where he was a member of Company F1 and Parsons Mounted Cavalry. He graduated in the spring of 2021 with a bachelors in Construction Science and became a project manager for Cadence McShane Construction. During his time at Texas A&M university, He met the love of his life, Moira Salinas. They got married in November 2023 and together they built their own little dog family. He was a beautiful soul that loved so deeply. He treated his friends like they were his family, cared for his family and inlaws and loved Moira with all his heart. He was a man that was an example of great character, strength, integrity, courage. Matthew was extremely devoted to his wife, family, and friends.

Matthew is survived by his wife Moira Kreiss, Kellie Demachkie (mother), Corey Kreiss(Father), Sorcha Kreiss (sister), Kreiss and Salinas family, Tripp(dog), Tucker(dog), Beau(dog) and all his friends.

My name is Daniel Farias, a close friend of Matthew. I reached out to Moira with the idea of creating a fundraiser to help support her and the family during this difficult time. It would mean the world to them if anyone reading this would support them through this difficult time. All funds will be transferred to Moira Kreiss and be used to help out with the medical/memorial expenses.
