In Loving Memory of Matthew A. Dayes Jr

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Matthew A. Dayes Jr., who left us on Thursday, March 13th, at the age of 25.

Our names are Shai and Malachi, and we've created this GoFundMe to help ease the financial burden on his family during this difficult time. The funds will go towards covering funeral and memorial service expenses, as well as any other costs related to his passing.

Malachi and I were Matthew’s closest friends — the '3 amigos,' inseparable in every way. Matthew was not only a cherished friend and loving partner to his girlfriend, but also a devoted godfather, a faithful Christian and a beloved family member to countless others.

He was a shining light in every room he entered, known for his contagious smile and incredible sense of humor. He touched so many lives with his kindness, wisdom, generosity, and unwavering love.

This sudden and unexpected loss has left us all heartbroken and has been incredibly difficult for all of us who were lucky enough to know him.

As we navigate this heartbreaking time, we are reaching out to our community for help, we are grateful for any support, whether through donations or simply sharing this page with others.
