In loving memory of Matt Hieb
Donation protected
Dear friends,
About 9 years ago, our family set out to find childcare for our daughter, and by the grace of God (and the priceless recommendation of Julie Wright), we were led to Cara and Matt Hieb. At the time, we didn’t know the extent of our good fortune. How could we possibly know how much love this couple (and the entire Hieb family) would bestow onto ours? With each day that passed, we were still learning what many of you already knew – that Cara and Matt Hieb blazed a trail of friendships, smiles, stories and hugs in every corner of their world.
On Wednesday, Matt was called to Heaven, sending a ripple of loss through so many communities. The Dorothy Lane Market family, Kettering City Schools and Apex Church – as well as countless families who’ve been touched by their kindness, good stories, hot meals, warm hugs and open door.
In times like these, we always wonder if there’s something we can do – some small way in which we can help. And for people like the Hiebs – we know there are so many who’ll be in this position. This page is here for your consideration, if you’re so moved, as one very small thing we can do to ease the burden of this loss on the Hieb family.
Our hearts are with them during this difficult time.
