It is with a heavy heart that I share of my dad, Marvin DJ Alfaro, unexpectedly gained his wings and was called home to be with the Lord on May 11th, 2023. My dad was a remarkable person. He always tried his best to be a loving son, father, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, co-worker, friend, and employee. He always put others before himself. He was selfless and kind. He was always a cheerful person who would leave people with a smile and laugh; that would last a lifetime. He had an unwavering dedication to his family and held us so close and dearly. We were so lucky to have such a wonderful person who loved, cared, and supported us. The impact he left in our lives will be felt for years to come. His memory will live on through the love and generosity he shared with those who surrounded him day in and day out. While always knowing that we’re on the journey of life, death can come at any moment, we’ll never understand why it came to us when it did. One can never prepare for the kind of heartache we feel today. We want to send my dad home with a ceremony he so deserves, but we cannot do it without the help of his and our communities. The funds raised will go towards funeral arrangement costs and to support our family in their day-to-day needs. Anything truly helps and would be greatly appreciated.
