In Loving Memory of Mario A. Laureano

Hello. I am Margarita Laureano, sister of 26-year-old Mario A. Laureano. It is with a heavy heart that I share the passing of my beloved brother. He was admitted on April 29, 2025, to the ER and immediately to CCU from his job due to a heat stroke, which caused his organs to shut down. We had hope that he was indeed on his way to recovery since we saw very small milestones. Unfortunately, while on his way to recovery, two major organs were badly affected. Where doctors suggested a laparotomy, which happened to be the last option and the first of many in order to see improvement, was performed on Friday, May 16, 2025. As they monitored him throughout Saturday, he was raising concerns about why he wasn’t improving, so they suggested a second surgery Saturday night, already at high risk due to him being critically ill. As we had faith, hope, and prayed that he would pull through, they brought him back up to CCU and broke the news to us that they did everything they could possibly do to help him but showed signs of his organs slowly dying… As for everyone who got to know my brother, he was a goofball full of life, always smiling and laughing no matter the struggle. He leaves behind a beloved mother who he dearly adored so much, one who never left his side while being hospitalized and really had hope and faith her baby would pull through. We all had high hopes that he was indeed going to get through this, but unfortunately, God had other plans for him. I would also like to take the time to thank everyone for their prayers and let everyone know that all donations made will be appreciated as we want to give my brother a proper burial. Thank you…

Hola. Gracias...
