Our hearts are completely shattered as we share that our beautiful Mariah Hernandez, only 14 years old, has passed away. Just recently, we were planning her quinceañera, celebrating her joy, her dreams, and the young woman she was becoming. Now we are faced with the unimaginable pain of planning her funeral instead.

Mariah was a bright, loving, sweet girl whose smile could light up any room. She brought so much happiness and love into our family. Losing her has left a pain that words cannot describe.

This tragedy is especially devastating for my sister, Jessyca, who already endured the heartbreaking loss of Mariah’s father, Abner Hernandez, in 2021. To lose her husband and now her daughter within just a few years is something no one should ever have to experience.

My sister is now left to care for her remaining children: Andrew (18), Chloe (10), and Jayden (9) while navigating this unimaginable grief.

I am creating this GoFundMe to help cover Mariah’s funeral and memorial expenses and to ease some of the financial burden that my sister now faces. Any donation, no matter the amount, will help us give Mariah the beautiful and loving farewell she deserves.
