In Loving Memory of Maria Duran

We are heartbroken to share that on September 13, 2021, we unexpectedly lost our beloved Maria Duran due to a heart condition (Aortic dissection). She was 36 years old and taken too soon. Those that knew Maria, loved her. She loved fiercely and lived fully. To have known her was a privilege and to be loved by her was an absolute gift.

 

She was a selfless woman that never hesitated to help others. Her radiant energy had a way of making people feel joyful, proud, and filled with hope.

 

Anytime she saw an airplane her face would light up. Airplanes were fascinating and one of her greatest passions. She was proud to be a United employee and greatly adored her work family and the many friendships she made there. 

This fund has been started by Maria’s sisters to assist with the unprecedented financial costs for the funeral and burial.
