With the heartfelt permission of my cousins Alex, Yesy, Chuy, and Ricky, I come to you today with a humble request for support as we lay their mother, Maria “Cuca,” to rest, honoring her memory as she truly deserves. On Tuesday, September 16, 2025, we lost an extraordinary soul: a loving mother, grandmother, wife, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. Cuca was the epitome of selflessness, kindness, and love. She had a heart that radiated warmth, and her days were filled with the simple joys of music, scratchers, donuts, coffee, cooking, and caring for the viejitos at her job. To all who knew her, she was truly an angel on earth, a one-of-a-kind spirit who touched everyone with her love. ❤️

Just a few weeks ago, her children made one of her dreams come true throwing her the birthday celebration she had never experienced in her lifetime. That final moment of happiness, surrounded by her loved ones, will remain in our hearts forever.

In the wake of this sudden loss, many of you have asked how you can help. In response, we’ve created this GoFundMe page to assist with the funeral expenses.
