With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Manuel “Memo” Vasquez III on April 20, 2026.

Manuel was a quiet, steady presence—someone who didn’t need many words to show how deeply he loved. His love was felt in the simplest, most meaningful ways: in his presence, in his actions, and in the comfort he brought to those around him. If you knew Manuel, you knew you were cared for.

He found joy in life’s simple moments. Some of his happiest times were spent driving, listening to oldies, sharing deep, heartfelt conversations with those closest to him, and spending time fishing—something he truly loved.

Manuel also found purpose in his work. He loved and took pride in his career with the Veterans Administration for 22 years, where he dedicated himself to serving others. He ended his career helping to house veterans, a role that reflected his quiet compassion and desire to make a difference in people’s lives.

Manuel was deeply loved by his family, his friends, and especially his wife and stepchildren, who will carry his love with them always.

Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing he is now reunited in heaven with his son and his mother.

His passing has left an immeasurable void, and he will be missed more than words can express. As we navigate this loss, we are asking for support to help honor his life and lay him to rest.
