We are heartbroken to share that our beloved brother Mandela Mihayo passed away suddenly. He was a son, brother, and friend who touched the lives of everyone around him with his kindness and love. His passing left a hole in our hearts that can never be filled, but the Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. He was deeply loved and will be missed beyond words. We are reaching out to ask for support with funeral expenses and to honor his beautiful memory. We want to take a moment to honor and share more about the beautiful life of my brother. He was a man who loved God deeply and carried that love into everything he did. He had a passion for singing and often used his voice to bring joy and comfort to those around him. He was a devoted brother to 4 sisters and 5 brothers, and a proud uncle who cherished his nieces and nephews dearly. Beyond our family, he served others selflessly; working as a translator for refugees back home, helping them find their voice and place in a new world. His compassion was boundless, his wisdom far beyond his years, and he wore his heart on his sleeve in everything he did. He had so many hopes and dreams, and his absence leaves a hole that words cannot fill. While we grieve, we are also deeply grateful for the love and support we’ve received during this heartbreaking time.
