It was a long journey for Tracy and Junji but they were thrilled to be adding another member to their family. Unfortunately God had other plans for sweet Maggie Grace afterTracy suffered a placenta abruption. She was born at 33 weeks, weighing in at 4 pounds and measuring 17 inches. Maggie Grace joined her big sister Charlotte in heaven.
Amongst the immense grief they have endured after losing Charlotte just a few years ago, they never stopped giving back. They redirected their sadness into helping others. They started a non-profit called Seize Your Joy that raises money to fill "Joy" bags for families going through times and enduring long hospital stays. "Through providing Joy to those in need, we seek to help others realize that Joy is ever present even in the smallest forms and resides always within each individual person, especially during their darkest hours." They never seize to amaze me with their strength, love and ability to see Joy in every situation.
It's our turn to give back to them. With this devastating news, comes devastating expenses. Let's band together to help them cover hospital expenses, arrangements for Maggie and time away from work to grieve. Tracy, Junji and Sophie need our support and prayers.
