In Loving Memory of Madan Mohan Viddam

Madan Mohan R. Viddam touched the lives of hundreds of people. Although we are saddened of his passing on January 02, 2021, his spirit is alive through our shared memories.

Those who were lucky to have met him know how incredibly passionate, kind, and giving he was throughout his lifetime. Therefore, to commemorate his memory we have set up a donation link to the “Friends of the Homeless” shelter where he cooked and served meals every month for over 20 years.

In addition to volunteering at the "Friends of the Homeless" shelter, Mohan volunteered his time to Meals on Wheels, YMCA, Dublin Food Pantry, and the Salvation Army.

Most notably, Mohan was known for his Water Purification project in India as he strived to provide water purification equipment to villages in cooperation with the Dublin AM Rotary and Community Pure Water (CPW) organization in parts of India. He established twenty reverse-osmosis water filtration centers, helping over 70,000 people have clean water.

Mohan's passion for the community and deep-seeded commitment to social responsibility was admirable and a defining quality. We are so proud of all his work and hope to model his example of benevolence in his honor. Please feel free to donate to any of the other organizations mentioned above as well.
