On August 8th, our family unexpectedly lost my twin brother, Lucas “Luke” Robert Torresdal, at just 32 years old. Luke was funny, kind, selfless, incredibly loyal, and someone who always looked after the people around him. He worked hard for everything he had and made me and so many others incredibly proud of the person he was. He loved being outdoors, fishing, paddle boarding, cooking, watching the Seahawks, and especially riding motorcycles. His friends meant the world to him, and many of them he considered family. Luke wasn't just my brother, he was my twin. Losing him is something I'm still struggling to put into words.
Our family is planning a memorial service and final resting place for Luke at Sunset Hills in Bellevue, Washington where he will be placed next to our mother, grandmother and grandfather. The total cost of his cremation, memorial, and final arrangements is expected to be approximately $10,000. Several of Luke's friends and loved ones have asked how they can help, so we've created this GoFundMe for anyone who would like to contribute. Even if you are unable to donate, sharing this page, or simply sharing a memory of Luke means more to us than we can express. Thank you to everyone who has supported our family and shared their love for Luke. We hope to give him a place where all of us can continue to visit, remember him, and keep his memory alive. We love you, Luke.
