In loving memory of Luke Alexander Vermeulen

Luke Vermuelen
It seems incredible that just a month ago, with a heavy heart, I shared the sudden passing of my beloved husband and friend, Luke. Luke was the strength and love of my life, the energy that kept me going. Luke was known for being devoted to helping people. He was a motivator and life coach not just to me but to many others as well. His favorite saying was looking at a glass “half full”. He had a positive, kind soul, always ready to help when and wherever was needed. He also was an advocate of nature who loved gardening, animals and his favorite hobby was being a beekeeper. I always joked that he was Dr. Doolittle as evident from the last picture I took of him with some of our pets.
Some of you have reached out and asked how you can help me navigate during this time. I’m running into unexpected bills that are beyond the goal of this fund not including funeral expenses. Upon suggestion, I created a go fund account for funds that will cover the unexpected doctors, emergency and hospital fees as well as other incurred fees. Luke was a loving husband, father, son, and brother. We appreciate your support whether through contribution or sharing this link.
Thank you again for supporting us during this difficult time, particularly reaching out and checking up on me. I so appreciate the caring and kindness and reminder that I am not alone. It is my hope that you can attend his memorial at a later date.
