In Loving Memory of Luis Antonio – A Father’s Legacy of Love

On June 14, 2025, our family suffered an unimaginable loss. My beloved brother, Luis Antonio Salvador Díaz, passed away suddenly at just 37 years old. He was on his way to dialysis when he suffered a seizure and his heart gave out. Our mother was with him in his final moments—an image she will carry in her heart forever.

Luis had been silently battling severe health issues for years. He developed kidney failure due to medications taken for gout disease and endured dialysis three times a week. Despite the pain and difficulty, he never gave up. Even when he could barely walk, he continued to work to provide for his two young sons—Jack Antonio, who turns 3 this June 21st, and Chris Antonio, who will be 5 in November 1st. They were his entire world. Every ounce of strength he had, he gave for them.

His determination was unmatched. He only stopped working after suffering a seizure while driving that resulted in a serious car accident. Yet still, he kept fighting. He was the bravest person I know. His love for his children gave him the will to endure pain most of us could never imagine.

Luis was not only a devoted father but also a loving son, brother, and friend. His absence leaves a deep void in our hearts. Our mother, who held his hand in his final moments, is devastated beyond words. Our family is shattered—but we hold onto faith and the hope that Luis has found peace at last.

En Memoria de Luis Antonio – El Legado de un Padre Amoroso.

El 14 de junio del 2025, nuestra familia sufrió una pérdida irreparable. Mi querido hermano, Luis Antonio Salvador Díaz, falleció repentinamente a la edad de tan solo 37 años. Se dirigía a su tratamiento de diálisis cuando sufrió una convulsión, se tocó el corazón… y se fue. Mi madre estaba con él en esos últimos minutos. Lo vio partir. Su dolor es inmenso, indescriptible.

Luis llevaba años luchando en silencio contra graves problemas de salud. A causa de los medicamentos que tomaba por la gota, desarrolló una falla renal crónica que lo llevó a recibir diálisis tres veces por semana. A pesar del sufrimiento constante, nunca se rindió. Incluso cuando ya no podía caminar bien, seguía trabajando para mantener a sus hijos:

Jack Antonio, quien cumplirá 3 añitos este 21 de junio, y

Chris Antonio, quien cumplirá 5 el 1ro de noviembre.

Ellos eran su mundo entero. Su razón de vivir. Cada paso que daba, era por ellos.

Solo dejó de trabajar después de un accidente automovilístico causado por una convulsión mientras manejaba. Su auto quedó destruido. Pero incluso entonces, siguió luchando. Luis fue la persona más valiente que he conocido. Y lo admiro profundamente por eso.

Fue un padre dedicado, un hijo amoroso, un hermano ejemplar y un amigo leal. Su partida deja un vacío inmenso en nuestras vidas. Lo extrañaremos siempre. Su legado más grande son sus hijos, quienes ahora necesitan más amor y apoyo que nunca.

Este GoFundMe es para ayudar a cubrir los gastos del funeral y del memorial, y para brindar algo de apoyo a sus hijos pequeños en este momento tan difícil.
