We are heartbroken to share that Lucy passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Sunday 29th March. Our family is still trying to come to terms with this devastating loss, and the days since have been filled with grief, shock, and unimaginable sadness. Many of you will know that we had previously been raising funds to build an annex for Lucy, creating a space that would support her future and wellbeing. Thanks to your kindness and generosity, we were able to place a deposit toward this. We are now in the process of trying to recover those funds so they can be redirected to help us during this incredibly difficult time. We have updated this GoFundMe to help cover the costs of Lucy’s funeral and to support necessary refurbishments to the family home. After such a traumatic experience, parts of the home have become deeply distressing, and making changes will help us begin to heal and find some comfort again. This is not something we ever imagined having to face, and asking for help is incredibly hard.
