In Loving Memory of Lucila: Honoring Her Final Wish

“It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother, Lucila Soriano Hernandez.

Lovingly known as Chila, she was a devoted mother, a warm and caring grandmother, and a gentle soul who touched everyone she met with kindness and warmth.

In her final years, she suffered greatly due to illness and, sadly, was unable to return to her homeland to reunite with her mother, who is still living. Despite that pain, Lucila’s strength, grace, and unwavering love for her family never stopped shining.

To honor her final wishes, Lucila will be laid to rest in her beloved hometown of Oaxaca, Mexico. This GoFundMe has been created to help cover the expenses of bringing her home and giving her the farewell she deserves.

Conocida con cariño como Chila, fue una madre siempre profundamente dedicada a sus hijos, una abuela cálida y amorosa, y un alma gentil que tocó la vida de todos los que la conocieron con su bondad y calidez.

En sus últimos años, sufrió mucho debido a su enfermedad y, lamentablemente, no pudo regresar a su tierra natal a reunirse con su madre, quien aún vive. A pesar de ese dolor, la fuerza, la gracia y el amor incondicional de Lucila por su familia nunca dejaron de brillar.

Para honrar su último deseo, Lucila será llevada a descansar en su querido pueblo natal de Oaxaca, México.
