In Loving Memory of Luciano Ortega

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the tragic and unexpected passing of our dear brother, husband, son, Officer and friend, Luciano Ortega.

Lou was raised in San Francisco, California. Lou is a graduate of Sacred Heart-Cathedral High School and San Francisco State University, was an avid Rugby player and a huge sports fan. Lou followed in the steps of his parents as a police officer and dedicated his life to serving the community he grew up in. He was a generous, caring, kind, selfless human. His unforgiving sense of humor and his contagious smile will forever be missed.

Now, as we mourn his loss, we cannot forget the difficult road that lies ahead for his grieving wife Cynthia, his parents, and extended family and friends. In addition to the profound emotional loss they endure, they must also navigate the financial burdens that come with such a tragic event. As an extension of Lou's family, we hope to rally around them and provide the support they need during this difficult time.
