UPDATE: Thank you so much for all of your kindness. We are very close to our target in order to create Louennie’s funeral, a wake to celebrate her life and purchase a memorial garden for her children and family to visit.

The children have asked for jewellery with their mums ashes and thank you to all of you, we are very close to making that happen ♥️✨

My name is Leroy, and I’m Louennie’s big brother. You might have known her as Lou, but to me she was my Little Louby.

On 27th August, we lost my beautiful baby sister at the young age of 37, after a difficult battle with cancer. She was such a fighter, but everything happened far more quickly than any of us could ever have imagined, leaving our family completely heartbroken.

Lou leaves behind the four most precious people in her world - her children, Danny aged 20, Elyssia aged 16, Sonny aged 11 and Saul aged 10.

Anyone who knew Lou knew just how much her children meant to her. As a family, our focus now is on surrounding them with as much love, stability and support as we possibly can, while also giving Lou the most beautiful send-off she deserves.

Over the past few weeks, so many people have reached out to us, prayed for Lou, sent messages of love and asked if there is anything they can do to help. We have felt every bit of that love, and it has meant more to us than I can put into words.

We have created this fundraiser to give those who would like to support Lou and her children a way to do so.

The money raised will first go towards Lou’s funeral and memorial costs, helping us celebrate her life and give her the send-off she deserves. Any funds remaining will be used to support her four children as they adjust to life without their mum, and to help with the practical costs of getting them settled and secure for the future.

I will be managing the funds raised on behalf of Lou and our family and making sure they are used in the best way possible.

There is absolutely no expectation to donate. We know times are difficult for many people, and every message, prayer, kind word and act of love shown to Lou and our family has already meant so much.
