In Loving Memory of Lorna Persello

With great sadness, I regret to inform everyone about the passing of Lorna Persello, mother, grandmother, sister, & friend. Lorna went to her forever home in heaven on 10/10/22. Lorna was surrounded by her daughter's family when she took her last breath. Several years ago, Lorna selflessly relocated from her hometown of Spokane, WA, to be closer to her daughter Sheri & grandchildren in the greater Portland area. Lorna got the opportunity to spend some great years watching her grandchildren grow up while fostering a mother/daughter relationship with her daughter Sheri. It was a twofold blessing because Lorna also got to know her son in law Greg Burgess, during those years. In recent years, post-retirement, while living on a fixed income, Lorna struggled with some health issues whereby she spent a great deal of her life savings on medical bills. Due to the unexpected nature of her passing, Sheri is left picking up the financial pieces from Lorna's medical history. After paying the remainder of Lorna's monthly living expenses, few resources are left to transport Lorna's remains back to her hometown of Spokane, her final resting place.
