In loving memory of Lorie- support her daughter’s education

Hi, my name is Cherine and I’m fundraising in support of my friend and colleague Lorie Chaikowski.

It is with deep sadness that we share the unexpected passing of our beloved daycare director, Lorie. For years, Lorie was the heart and soul of our daycare— a nurturing, warm, and dedicated leader who treated every child as if they were her own. Lorie leaves behind her precious daughter, who was the light of her life. As a daycare family and wider community, we want to honour Lorie's memory in a way that reflects the love and care she gave to so many of our children-by supporting her own child's future.

All funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward her daughter's education. Whether it's for elementary, high school, or post-secondary costs, we hope this fund can help ease the burden and create opportunities that Lorie would have proudly provided herself.
