Never in a million years did I imagine I’d be writing these words. It is with a heart full of sorrow that I share the devastating news: our beloved Lizzette Ponce has left this world.

Lizzette was a light in the lives of so many. Sassy, funny, kind, and truly unforgettable. She had a way of making everyone feel seen, heard, and loved. She was the first to lend a helping hand and always put others first. If you knew Liz, you knew you had a friend for life.

She had a gift for bringing people together. She was the glue in many of our lives - the one who organized the gatherings, made the meals, and turned every moment into a celebration. She loved to cook, she loved to dance, she loved to drink, and above all, she loved to live.

Her passing has left a space that no one else could ever fill. But we take comfort in knowing she is now reunited with her beloved father - her hero. Liz was a proud daddy’s girl, and his loss weighed heavily on her. We believe they are together again, watching over us with love.

As someone who has known Liz since middle school, and even had the privilege of living with her - I can tell you that having Liz in your life meant having love, stability, laughter, and strength. She did everything with confidence and intention. Whether it was our adventure to France or making the bold move from Greenfield to Sacramento, Liz lived life with purpose and passion.

Now, in the wake of this unimaginable loss, we are asking for your help.
