A fundraiser by NKH Crusaders and friends of the Irvin family

On the evening of July 15, at home in the arms of his family, Link Irvin’s bright light left this world. Born August 23, 2021, Link was deeply loved by everyone who had the joy of knowing him — his parents Ashley and Ryan, his siblings Ivy (15), Alexander (12), Logan (6), Revan (2), and Willow (6 months), his grandparents Susie Matthews, Eric and Karen Irvin, and the entire NKH community.

Link had a smile that could stop you in your tracks — big, blue eyes full of wonder, a contagious laugh, and a playful, ornery spirit. He loved being in the center of things: dancing to music, giggling at his brothers, singing along to Moana, watching Minions, and soaking up love from everyone around him. His favorite place to be was with his dad, getting raspberries blown on his belly — laughter echoing through the house.

Despite a difficult start in life, Link was a fighter. He overcame so much and inspired everyone around him with his strength and determination. He brought joy not just to his family, but to the larger NKH community as well. Link attended two NKH family conferences in Boston, where he captured the hearts of all who met him.

As friends and fellow NKH families, we are heartbroken. We also know that right now, the Irvin family needs space to grieve without the added weight of financial stress.

We have created this fundraiser with a goal of $5,000 to help cover funeral and memorial expenses, groceries, household bills, and basic needs while Ashley and Ryan take time off work to care for their family.
