On the morning of April 21st, 2020, our loving mother, Linda Gallone, passed away due to the Corona Virus.
Our mom had found out that she was around someone who tested positive for the virus, so she decided to stay home to self quarantine. After being home for a few days, she started not feeling well but seemed like the common cold. After a couple days of not feeling better she reached out to her doctor who prescribed antibiotics. During the course of taking them, her temperature and health were bouncing back and forth; from normal temp/feeling better to high temp/not feeling well. Once the antibiotics were finished, she reached back out to her doctor and got a prescription to get tested for the virus. Unfortunately, before she could make it to a testing site, her health took a quick, drastic turn, completely failed and she had passed away suddenly.
Although she was never actually tested, her death was ruled as Covid19 related which our family and medical authorities all agree upon.
Her passing was sudden, unexpected, and has been a huge devastation to our family.
Before any of this happened, we had been going through many financial problems.. the largest one being the house that we lived in as a family for over 20 years got foreclosed and we all split up into separate living situations. Our uncle, father and mother moved into a small apartment and us two sisters moved in with our significant others.
Our father is on disability and can no longer work and our mother was still working trying to bring in money to make ends meet along with help from us and our uncle.
This time has been extremely difficult to begin with and the pandemic has made it so much more unbearable and heartbreaking. It is keeping us separated as a family and making things we have to take care much harder to accomplish and along with all of that we are worried about finances and expenses.
We opened this go fund me in loving memory of our mother to help fund her cremation expenses. Even if we do not reach our goal, anything that can be donated will help tremendously and is very much appreciated.
