In Loving Memory of Lind Miguel

It is with deep sorrow and profound grief, I share the recent passing of Lind Miguel.  A very loving and caring person, Lind Miguel unexpectedly passed away on December 4th, 2020. I am respectfully asking for a prayer and a donation of any amount to help the Miguel family with the unexpected hospital and funeral costs.

I had the pleasure of knowing Mr. Miguel (Lin) through Martin for thirty years. I'll never forget the many trips and memorable Christmas moments we shared. I will miss you with all my heart.  Thank you for always treating me like a member of your family.  May God Bless you and your beautiful family - from "Little (big) Jose"

Lind Miguel worked at the Los Angeles Times for over 25 years before retiring and reentering the workforce as a City of Los Angeles Parks and Recreation - Recreation Assistant.

At the Los Angeles Times, he was a Composer for the newspaper.  He has many friends that he still kept in touch with and would meet for breakfasts.

At the Recreation and Parks, he was a coach, referee, helped create sports programs, a mentor and a friend to many.  He volunteered for many years and then started working there as his job.  Part of his joy was still seeing or hearing from the kids and families that he grew to love.

He was very involved in volunteering at both his grandchildren’s schools.  Many will remember him making snow cones at special events at the schools, as well as volunteering at school dances, setting up at the book fairs and the music program.  He enjoyed and loved helping kids, their families, and being there for his grandchildren Brendan and Brianna who will love and miss him dearly.

Lind had a loving family, including a wife, 2 children and 2 grandchildren.   Mr. and Mrs. Miguel recently celebrated their 50th year wedding anniversary this past summer.  His family meant the world to him.  He was an amazing father, husband, brother, uncle, mentor, coach, and friend.

He loved meeting people, building friendships, and helping people.  He loved all his family and friends and would always be there for anyone at any time that he could.  He will never be forgotten.

On behalf of the Miguel family, thank you in advance for your prayers and consideration of a donation in any amount.
