“For all of the things my hands have held, the best by far was you.”
Lincoln John Lee Wheeler
17 October 2017 - 20 May 2018
On 20 May 2018, shortly after 9:00 PM, a life was taken much too soon. Many of us knew him as Dinky or Our Little Fatness, but his name was Lincoln John Lee Wheeler. As you read on, please continue to keep mommy, Katelyn and daddy, Dallas in your thoughts and prayers.
Lincoln passed away during his nap from reasons unknown at this time, but most signs point to sudden infant death syndrome, or SIDS. The cause of SIDS is unknown and unpredictable, but is characterized by the sudden cessation of breathing, usually while a baby under the age of 1 year old is sleeping as Lincoln was.
During this difficult time of grieving, the money donated to this campaign will be given directly to my sister and her fiance as they try to navigate. The money will be used to help them maintain payments on their house and supplement lost wages while they are out of work.
My name is Joey, Katelyn’s brother, and I will be managing this campaign for my sister to prevent as much stress as possible as her and Dallas have experienced a tragedy that no parent should ever have to experience. For everyone that has sent prayers, positive thoughts, and kind words for my sister, my brother-in-law, my niece, and my nephew from near and far, we cannot thank you enough.
Update: 25 May 2018
We will be having Lincoln's grave side service at:
Resthaven Park Cemetery
6450 W. Northern Avenue
Glendale, AZ 85301
Wednesday, May 30th at 10:00 A.M.
There will be a reception after the burial services at Denyne and Jeff's house at 12:00 P.M. If you do not know where they live, please message us and we will provide you with their address.
Katelyn and Dallas have requested that we wear colorful clothes, and not all black.
Thank you all for the continued support of Katelyn and Dallas's family during this most difficult of times. It is very much appreciated.
