In Loving Memory of Lewis Orth
There are only good things we could write about the famous Lewis Orth. We all know him to be the goofiest person in the room but still always be the one with the most knowledge. We also know him to be the most loving, forgiving and unjudgmental person in our lives. He had so many inventions in mind, constantly thinking of a way to change something to make it more simple or just make it look cooler. He wanted to be an entrepreneur the most. Lots of business ideas, to name just a few, vending machines, car wash, parking garage, food truck, and flipping house just like Johnny O, the list could honestly go on and on since his mind was always filled with ideas for everything. He had so many plans and ideas for how his life would turn out, one of them being having chickens again just like when he was growing up with his mom. It made him envision him and Hailey having a farm together and getting away from the noisy and bright city. He would ride his bike all the way from home to Kennywood just to see how far he could make it, of course would have to stop just a few times to get himself a whopper. Lewis was always blessed to know and feel love from his mom and dad, being he is the only child Pops really made sure he spent his time to raise a great, polite, caring, intelligent, handsome, athletic man. I'm sure everyone has heard Lewis talk so highly of his girlfriend Hailey for seven years, they truly got to grow up together and enjoy every moment they spent together. They created so many memories together from Lew teaching her how to drive, prom, graduation, traveling, getting an apartment, the list could just go on and on. I am so thankful for the love they had together and the great life they gave each other. Everyone has also seen or heard Lew mention his doggy Ruckus, he always grew up around dogs but this one really has his heart, he treated him just like a little baby! They had to sleep by each other every day. His morning routine consisted of getting coffee with only creamer and calling our G-Raise to talk about The Price is Right, the game that was on last night, and ask who he should place his bets on. Lew's life was filled with so much love and great friends with great memories, I know he is watching and laughing at all of us for crying.
To help everyone trying to understand what happened since it was so sudden, Monday night Aug 30th Lewis became very sick when he woke up that morning, later that night he began to get worse and have seizures, which led Hailey to call 911 for help. When we got to the hospital he was already in bad shape but we had a lot of hope for him since he was so healthy the day before. One thing came after the next and his organs started shutting down, they thought doing an emergency surgery would help his organs start to recover but everything started to shut down on him. After being in the hospital for a few days and while waiting for some brain scans, he ended up having a final cardiac arrest. Pops then had to make a decision no father should ever have to make but he knew if he didn't make the choice he had to, it would have just caused Lew's body more damage.
At this time all donations will go towards the service arrangements and any left over will be donated to Arlington baseball field, one of his favorite places in the world.
