In Loving Memory of Lev Dykyi

It is with great sadness that we share the news about the passing of Lev Dykyi on April 19th, 2023. Although his short 6 years were full of health troubles, he passed away peacefully with both of his parents by his side. In just a short time he has touched so many hearts with his presence and inspired hope in so many of us. We will all miss Lev and remember him as a vibrant child with a warm smile and the spirit of a warrior.

Volodya, Alyona, and Lev Dykyi immigrated to the United States just a little over a year ago in February 2022 seeking for medical expertise available in America. Over the last year, Lev has received multiple medical treatments at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Alyona prioritized Lev and was by his side throughout many hospital trips and especially over the last few months when Levs condition began to significantly decline. On April 19th, Levs heart seized beating as he transitioned to a place that has no pain or sickness. Lev is now in heaven and free from any health restrictions that limited him here on Earth.

Sickness and death bring about not only an emotional and spiritual hardship but also a financial one. This fundraiser is to help alleviate some of that financial burden and the pending funeral costs.

З великим сумом повідомляємо про те, що 19 квітня 2023 року відійшов у вічність Лев Дикий. Незважаючи на те, що його короткі 6 років були сповнені проблем зі здоров’ям, він відійшов мирно, поруч із обома батьками. За такий короткий час своєю присутністю він зворушив стільки сердець і вселив надію в багатьох із нас. Ми всі будемо сумувати за Левом і пам’ятатимемо його як яскраву дитину з теплою посмішкою та духом воїна.

Володя, Альона та Лев Дикий емігрували до Сполучених Штатів трохи більше року тому, у лютому 2022 року, шукаючи медичної експертизи, доступної в Америці. За останній рік Лев неодноразово проходив лікування в дитячій лікарні Філадельфії. Альона ставила Лева на перше місце і була поруч з ним протягом багатьох візитів у лікарню, особливо в останні кілька місяців, коли стан Лева почав значно погіршуватися. 19 квітня у Лева перестало битися серце, але ми знайемо що він вже там де немає болю чи хвороби. Зараз Лев перебуває на небесах і вільний від будь-яких обмежень щодо здоров’я, які обмежували його тут, на Землі.

Хвороба та смерть спричиняють не тільки емоційні та духовні труднощі, але й фінансові. Цей збір коштів для того щоб допомогти облегшити фінансовий тягар і витрати у цей час.
