In loving memory of Letty Zaragoza

Story

Hi  my name is Valerie and it is with deep regret and a heavy heart that I inform you of the passing of my mother Leticia Zaragoza. Letty, was a great mother and grandmother, and was beloved by all that knew her. She always brought a smile to people’s faces. My mother had a heart of gold. She was the most giving, caring and loving person you could ever meet. My mother had been battling an unknown case of pneumonia since July. Doctors prescribed several medications and treatments none seemed to work. A month later she was referred to an infectious disease specialist who gave her antibiotics to treat bacteria and fungus. Still nothing seemed to work and her health kept declining. As the family continued to fight along with her we decided to take her to another hospital in hopes of getting the right treatment for this unknown pneumonia. Letty’s oxygen levels declined significantly and her heart stopped beating at 4:40 am on September 17, 2021. Still until this day it’s unknown what caused my mother’s health to decline so drastically. My mother was a special education aide teacher that was loved dearly by her colleagues and students. Due to her health condition she was unable to work. As you can imagine, the family was not prepared for the financial burden that comes along with funeral services. This is why I am reaching out to you all in hopes that you will show your support to our family at this time of need. Thank you. May God Bless You All.A good heart has stopped beating, a good soul ascended to Heaven.
