In Loving Memory of Leonid Chekhovskyy

A big tragedy happened in our family… my oldest brother, Leonid Chekhovskyy, tragically died the night from December 21 to the 22nd. He was coming home to Jacksonville, FL with his youngest son, so that the whole family could be together for Christmas. But something happened to his tire and he has to pull over to figure out what was wrong, and as he was changing the tire a big truck ran him over and killed him instantly. His son Lukas- ran out of the car to his dead father lying in a pool of blood…. I don’t even know and can’t find the right words to tell of this….

I want to write about him! Many of you knew him! You knew and saw his life of example, how much he loved God, despite all the hardships in his life. He lived a life worthy of honor! My brother, my role model, my hero of His faith and honor towards the Lord- he left such a good and light-filled imprint on the hearts of many! He will always be in our hearts! 

He was the only provider in his family for food and housing. His wife, Natasha, is handicapped. She has been ill for a number of years and she isn’t in the state to work… or even move independently and is in need of constant care. Leonid always tried so hard and took care of his family, he did everything he could- no matter how difficult it was or how much it cost him! He was his family’s only provider and his whole family was dependent solely on him! 

If your heart is in the position to give and you have the opportunity to help financially, we will be so incredibly grateful!

В нашей семье случилось большое горе…Мой родной, самый старший брат, Леонид Чеховский, трагически погиб ночью с 21 на 22 декабря. Он, со своим младшим сыном, Лукасом, возвращался домой, чтоб на Рождество быть вместе со своей семьей. Но что-то случилось с колесом, Лёня попытался починить и разобраться в чем дело, но его сбил большой трак (который даже сразу и не остановился) Лукас, ему 11 лет, выбежал из машины, подбежал к лежащему на дороге мёртвому папе, возле которого было много крови…Далее, не знаю и не нахожу подходящих слов…

Хочу написать о нем!Многие из вас знали его! Знали и видели на примере его жизни, как сильно он любил Бога, несмотря на все трудности, которые были в его жизни.

Он был достойным примером для подражания!

Его все любили! Все всегда знали, что если в компании есть Лёня, всегда будут песни и размышления о Слове Божьем!

Мой брат, мой пример, мой герой веры-воистину был Божьим человеком, который оставил добрый и светлый след в сердцах многих! Он всегда будет в наших сердцах!

Он был единственным кормильцем в своей семье. Его жена, Наталья, инвалид. Она уже который год болеет, и не в состоянии ни работать, ни даже самостоятельно передвигаться и нуждается в присмотре. Лёня всегда старался для своей семьи, делал все, что мог, не взирая на то, как бы трудно не было…Он был единственным кормильцем в семье и на нем все держалось!

Если ваше сердце расположено, и вы имеете возможность помочь финансово, мы будем вам очень благодарны!

Dearest friends! It has already been half a year since the day our dear brother died… it still doesn’t feel real and to this day it is so painful…

And now when some time had already passed, we want to share with you how the money that you so generously donated was spent to help the family! All money went to the needs of Leonya’s family, first to cover all funeral expenses, and the most important- to fully pay off the house, where Natasha and her 3 boys still live to this day!

Again and again we want to thank you from the very depths of our hearts for your compassion, understanding, and your generous hearts!

May the Lord bless and keep each and every one of you!

Дорогие друзья! Со дня смерти нашего дорогого брата прошло уже пол года…Не верится и до сих пор больно…

И вот сейчас, спустя время, мы хотим вас уведомить о том, куда и на что пошли все деньги, которые вы так щедро жертвовали!

Все деньги ушли на нужды Лёниной семьи, на покрытие похоронных расходов, а что самое важное-полностью выплатили дом, в котором продолжает жить Наташа с 3 детьми! 

Вновь и вновь хотим от всего сердца поблагодарить за ваше неравнодушие, сострадание и такие жертвенные сердца!

Пусть Бог хранит каждого из вас!!!!
